David W. Van Kooten, MD
Dr. Van Kooten attended medical school at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed his five year residency training at Penn State University. He is Board Certified in Otolaryngology and has been in practice at Advantage ENT since 1998. Professional interests are in general otolaryngology with treatment of chronic sinusitis, hearing loss, chronic ear infections, and diseases of the nose and throat. He is married with four children. He enjoys spending time with his family as well as restoring antique tractors in his free time.

David A. Hartemink, MD
Dr. Hartemink attended medical school and completed his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is Board Certified in Otolaryngology and has been in practice at Advantage ENT since 2010. He has received extensive training and experience in all aspects of otolaryngology, including pediatric otolaryngology, treatment of chronic sinus disease, hearing loss, and surgical treatment of thyroid disease. He is married with two children and enjoys spending time outside or maintaining his fish aquariums.

Kimberly S. Albert, MA, CCC-A, FAAA
Kim is the Director of Audiology for Advantage Audiology. She attended Appalachian State University, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders, and received her Master of Arts in Audiology from the University of Colorado in Boulder in 2003 Kim has been working for our office since 2006. She is a licensed Audiologist in the State of Colorado, a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and maintains her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology. Kim believes in providing quality care with integrity for all patients. She is married with two daughters, and in her free time enjoys spending time with her family, camping, and skiing.
Melissa Fling, AuD, CCC-A
Melissa received her Doctor of Audiology degree from Central Michigan University. She discovered her passion for audiology while attending the University of Northern Colorado, where she received her Bachelor's of Science in Audiology and Speech-Language Sciences with a minor in Spanish. Throughout her doctoral training, she completed clinical rotations in various settings. Melissa's clinical interests include diagnostic evaluation of hearing and vestibular/balance disorders, amplification devices, aural rehabilitation, and tinnitus. Melissa is a licensed Audiologist in the State of Colorado, maintains a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Melissa is driven by her curiosity to learn more and aspires to be a well-practiced professional in the field. In her personal time, Melissa enjoys movies, music, singing, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.
