The most common cause of concern is a sore throat, which is often the result of an underlying condition or another issue at play. Most sore throats are the result of viral infections due to the common cold or flu. Bacterial infections including strep throat, tonsillitis, whooping cough and diphtheria may also cause a sore throat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
