David W. Van Kooten, MD, is board-certified in otolaryngology and has been in practice at Advantage ENT since 1998. He is dedicated to providing a wide range of health care services to people living in Arvada, the northern part of Westminster, and Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Dr. Van Kooten attended medical school at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. He then completed his five-year residency training at Penn State University in Centre County, Pennsylvania.
His professional interests are in general otolaryngology, with a special focus on the treatment of chronic sinusitis, hearing loss, chronic ear infections, and diseases of the nose and throat. Recognized for his high-quality care, Dr. Van Kooten has been named one of 5280 Magazine’s Top Doctors, as voted by his peers.
Dr. Van Kooten is married and has four children. Outside of practicing medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family as well as restoring antique tractors in his free time.
